Doug Mitchell, P.T.A.
Doug Mitchell is a physical therapy assistant at OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports. He has been practicing for six years after receiving his degree from Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama.
Doug has served in both outpatient and home health fields, but he found his passion treating the variety of cases seen on a daily basis in the outpatient setting. He personally grew up with a strong calling for leadership and helping others. As Doug grew older, he developed a passion for sports (ROLL TIDE!) and found that he could blend the two in this field. It had brought joy, a sense of accomplishment, as well as gratification knowing that he has been given the opportunity to impact multiple peoples’ lives on a daily basis.
The OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports therapy team is phenomenal with a wealth of knowledge amongst the group from areas, backgrounds, and focuses of study.
In his free time, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
