Ilya M. Gutman, M.D.

Dr. Ilya Gutman is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in advanced surgical and nonsurgical treatments for conditions of the neck and back. He is dedicated to creating personalized treatment plans that combine state-of-the-art imaging, diagnostics, and minimally invasive techniques to help patients return to the lifestyle they enjoy.

Dr. Gutman graduated summa cum laude from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. Following that, Dr. Gutman completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. He then committed to additional training, undergoing a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery at Indiana Spine Hospital in Carmel.

Dr. Gutman provides expertise in a wide range of procedures and treatments, including ultra minimally invasive spine surgery, disc-related care, and treatment for sciatica and spinal stenosis. His approach emphasizes individualized solutions, whether surgical or nonsurgical, with a focus on reducing recovery times and improving long-term outcomes.
