My Comeback Story: John G.

November 19, 2023 at 4pm I was riding my scooter and was run over by a speeding driver. I was taken to UAB trauma center. I suffered a broken neck, head injuries, back broke in two places. Multiple ribs broken. Shoulder broken. Torn liver and a hematoma on my hip. I got treated very poorly there. After 11 days I was transferred to Collinsville rehab where I was treated very well. 

Upon release I was referred to Dr Orr. He is a remarkable man who took time and removed my stitches the previous two institutions left in. He was careful. He diagnosed my hematoma and drained it almost two pints of blood. Eventually drained it again and then performed surgery. He helped schedule my back procedure. He did the hematoma surgery and all the follow ups. He prayed before my operation. I came to think of him and his associates as friends. They worked so hard to help me regain some relief as well as my dignity. 

All I can say is thank God for Dr Orr. I consider him a good friend!
