A Patient Story: Back to the Starting Line

Few patients put a procedure to the test like an elite sprinter does. After winning his heat at the Olympic Games, Tarsis Orogot, an athlete from The University of Alabama athlete developed vertebrogenic pain that kept him from running for a full year. Injections and rehabilitation did not deliver lasting relief. Following the Intracept® procedure with Dr. Bradly Goodman, his numbness and radiating leg pain gradually resolved, and he was able to return to running with his sights still set on competing at the highest level. Individual experiences vary, but his story shows what is possible for the right candidate.
